Guardians of the Galaxy Crossover With Avengers: Infinity War

‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ Will Crossover With ‘Avengers’

After months of rumour of Guardians of the Galaxy crossing over with Avengers, we finally have confirmation. Zoe Saldana confirmed during the Golden Globes that her character would definitely appear in the latest Avengers movie.

Will the rest of the cast? Well, there was a casting call for all the characters, but there hasn’t been any confirmation from TPTB. Right now, we just know that Gamora will somehow appear in Avengers: Infinity War.

So far, there are no plans to bring any of the Avengers cast into the Guardians of the Galaxy series of movies. One of the things that fans loved about Guardians of the Galaxy was that the movie stood on its own in the huge Marvel universe. While we know everything is connected in some way and The Collector is used, but there have been no major storylines appear. Director James Gunn says that he wanted to stick with that feel for the second movie.

Since all the Marvel movies (and TV shows) are connected, crossovers can and will happen. Gamora will appear but it is unclear how or when. Avengers: Infinity War will spend six months filming in Scotland, U.K., in areas including Edinburgh, Glasgow, and the Highlands. Fans may get a glimpse of the green woman in these locations. Saldana hasn’t got the script yet, though, so don’t count on it too much.

We actually don’t know that much about Avengers: Infinity War. The casting call has been kept under-wraps. While we assume that all four main Avengers, Black Widow, and Hawkeye will appear, there is no guarantee just yet! There are also rumors that Scottish actress Karen Gillan will appear in the movie, reprising her Guardians of the Galaxy role of Nebula.

There are rumors that Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 will feature a lead into the major Avengers movie. Will that be as an end credit scene or just as a story plotline? Could this be how Gamora turns up in the Avengers?

We’ll be staying up to date with all things Guardians of the Galaxy and Avengers, so we’ll let you know more as soon as we know it! Stay tuned!
