What is season 2 going to be all about?
Season 1 ended exactly where Margaret Atwood’s novel finished so season 2 is anybody guess really, but, an official synopsis has been released about the second season;
The Emmy-winning drama series returns with a second season shaped by Offred’s pregnancy and her ongoing fight to free her future child from the dystopian horrors of Gilead. “Gilead is within you” is a favourite saying of Aunt Lydia. In Season Two, Offred and all our characters will fight against – or succumb to – this dark truth.’

What else do we know about The Handmaid’s Tale Season 2?
Elizabeth Moss has been out and giving an insight of what is coming. During an Emmy Awards event she told how season 2 will continue on with the theme of motherhood with Moss saying;
“What does it mean to be a good mother? It’s about the way we mother the people in our lives.”
We should also expect it to be just as dark, or even darker, than season one as Moss said;
“I read the outline and got full body chills. Give up trying to guess what happens.”
The biggest thing Moss had to say about the second season however was;
“Give up trying to guess what happens”
