Is it worth seeing this movie?
Yes and no.
If you want something a bit different than everything else coming out just now and you want to have some lighthearted fun then yes, Just Getting Started, looks like it will do the job. Both Morgan Freeman and Tommy Lee Jones look to be delivering great comedy, the writing looks excellent and it looks set to be a very funny movie.
But, if you are looking for something memorable, something that you have never seen before then I wouldn’t get your hopes up. It’s a simple enough storyline that has been used before in movies. Person A is threatened by person B and they battle it out, have some laughs, eventually team up and a meaningful message is had at the end.
If you want light heartened comedy then go, you will more than likely enjoy it. If you want something revolutionary, never before seen stuff then don’t, you won’t find it here.
