Not your usual combination but from the look of the trailer it 100% works.

The trailer itself, which you can view below, is over two minutes long and opens up to a women walking off into a barren wasteland that borders America. The border has a sign stating:

BEYOND THIS FENCE IS NO LONGER THE TERRITORY OF TEXAS.

THAT HEREAFTER NO PERSON WITHIN THE TERRITORY BEYOND

THIS FENCE IS A RESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

OR SHALL BE ACKNOWLEDGED, RECOGNIZED OR GOVERNED

BY THE LAWS AND GOVERNING BODIES THEREIN

GOODLUCK

So basically a land where anything goes, what can go wrong…

Very quickly after this, we get glimpses of what goes on in this barren land as it follows our main character Arlen, played by Suki Waterhouse.

A notable lineup of the cast has been used for the movie, stars such as Jason Momoa, Keanu Reeves, Giovanni Ribisi, Diego Luna and Jim Carrey are featured.

As of now, this is the only trailer to be released but we wouldn’t be surprised if more was to come.

The Bad Batch is due to premiere on June 23rd so there is some time until we get to watch this very intriguing post-apocalyptic, dystopian / cannibalism love story unfold.
