What is Downsizing all about?


When searching for a solution to the problem of overpopulation a scientist figures out how to shrink people to five inches tall. Paul and his wife Audrey decide to undergo the shrinking process to escape from their stressful lives and move to a new community for downsized people. This decision to alter their lives so drastically leads to several life-changing adventures.


When is the Downsizing release date?


Scheduled to premiere in the US on December 22nd 2017, the movie was already released during the Venice film festival on August 30th, 2017. No UK release date has been set but is expected to be early 2018.


Is there a promotional trailer for Downsizing?


A teaser trailer was released on August 30th with the official feature trailer being released on September 12th 2017.


Who is involved in Downsizing?


Directed and written by Alexander Payne along with Jim Taylor, Downsizing stars Matt Damon (The Bourne Identity, Good Will Hunting) as Paul Safranek, Christoph Waltz (Django Unchained, Spectre) as Dusan Mirkovic, Hong Chau (Treme) as Ngoc Lan Tran and Kristen Wiig (The Martian, Despicable Me 2) as Audrey Safranek.
