If you fancy being the king at your next comic-con or if you are a major collector, or you really just want to show off then you can now official bid for Michael Keaton’s Batman costume that he wore in the original 1992 Batman Returns or you can bid for Christopher Reeve’s Superman tunic  that he wore in the 1978 Superman movie.

Both items are originals and fully authentic and are being auctioned by Nate D. Sanders auction house. Bids are now being taken for the items which will come to an end on Thursday, 26th January. Out of the two items up for auction, Michael Keaton’s Batsuit is more complete and stands at a massive 6’5” tall. It can also be displayed in its full stature upon a mannequin, shaped like Keaton, which is fixed to a base with the words Batman Returns displayed upon that comes included with the costume. Reeve’s Superman tunic is just that, it does not include his original pants or cape and as far as we can tell has no display case.

At the time of writing this, neither item had any bids made. Asking price by the auction house is starting at $35,000 for Michael Keaton’s Batsuit and $40,000 for Christopher Reeve’s Superman tunic. So if you have a few spare bucks lying about there is still time to make a bid for the items.
