Sharing is caring!

Split has only been out in theatres for a short time and is well on its way to being a box office hit and it has now been hinted that an M Night Shyamalan Split Horror Movie Sequel is possibly underway.

The horror movie, starring James MacAvoy, who plays the role of a man who suffers from dissociative identity disorder, that abducts and holds three women captive only came out in theatres several weeks ago and since its release has been at the number one spot in North America.

M. Night Shyamalan, the movie’s director, has been overwhelmed with the success of the movie and has taken to twitter to show is gratitude to fans.

Sadly there has been some criticism over the appropriateness of the movie, with mental health professionals, suffers from the same condition and sufferers of other mental conditions are unhappy with the making of this horror movie.

Despite the negativity, the movie has done extremely well and fans of Split should get excited that there may be a possible sequel in the works as Shyamalan tweeted from his account that he has:

“an 11-page outline for my next film in my bag. I can’t tell you what it is, but if you’ve seen #Spilt…”

The big questions now are, is this “11-page outline” a direct sequel? Or could it be a whole new movie that links to Split?

With the success of the movie, it looks like M. Night Shyamalan is back in directing great horror movies with his previous works including The Sixth Sense and Signs.

What did you think of the tweet? Is this a sequel in the making or something else? And what did you think of Split? Leave a comment below to let us know your thoughts.
