‘Prison Break’ Gets Official Start Date and New Trailer

‘Prison Break’ fans can finally relax as an official start date for the much anticipated revival of the TV series was announced today, January 11th, along with the release of a new official trailer.

Season 5 of ‘Prison Break’ has been in the works for some time now with fans eagerly waiting to find out when the TV series would officially begin. Fans no longer need to wait as official announcements via twitter have revealed that the series will resume on April 4th this year on FOX.

Fans can also watch the latest trailer for the newest season as this was launched today. Features within the trailer give plenty to think about  as we see that Michael, played by Wentworth Miller, is back from the dead and yet again in prison, this time in the middle east, and is sporting some lovely new ink (we personally love what looks like the ‘all seeing eye’ on each hand).  Theodore ‘T-Bag’ Bagwell also appears to have gone full on bionic with an upgrade to his missing limb.

All the main cast from the original lineup at the end of season 4 are set to return except from Brad Bellick, played by Wade Williams, whose character was killed off during season 4 and Alex Mahone, played by William Fichtner, who has not been written into the season 5 story as his storyline effectively came to an end in the last season.

Fans of Benjamin Miles Franklin or more commonly known as ‘C-Note’, played by Rockmond Dunbar, will be happy to see him in the latest trailer. C-Note was a recurring member of the series in the beginning but only for the first two seasons and only made a brief appearance at the end of season four.
