Star Wars: The Last Jedi DVD & Blu-Ray release date
As it stands Disney is still to announce the official release date for Star Wars: The Last Jedi. However, if it was to follow the same timetable as The Force Awakens then it would probably be around the beginning of April 2018.
Both movies were released in theatres at approximately the same time so it would make sense for the DVD / Blu-Ray release to be roughly the same time as well. A report by The Digital Bits has the date set at March 27th; however, this is still to be confirmed but would make sense with the timeline.
Pre-Orders are already being accepted on Amazon. So if you want to ensure you get it as early as possible then placing your order now makes sense. Amazon also offers their Pre-Order Price Guarantee when you pre-order, which states that if you order it now and the price of the DVD/Blu-Ray decreases after purchase, you are guaranteed the lowest price. So win, win.
We will update this section when more details are made available regarding a storewide release date.
Will there be any special features?
Again, if it is anything like The Force Awakens there will be a ton of special features included. Features such as deleted scenes, table reading footage, behind-the-scenes documentaries were made available and we expect the same again.
If you want to get an idea about what deleted scenes will be included in the DVD / Blu-Ray release, SlashFilm has all the exclusive details with writer/director Rian Johnson explaining there will be at least 20 minutes of footage.
