The Amazon original, The Man in the High Castle season 3 is underway and will be with us shortly. The American dystopian alternate history series, based loosely upon the novel by Philip K. Dick of the same name, about an America where they had lost the war and the nation was divided between Germany and Japan have had you anxiously waiting for its return since the season 2 finale.
Season 2 ended with John Smith overthrowing a potential overthrow of the Nazi empire and completely unaware that his son was being taken away due to his disability. Juliana Crain has managed to escape captivity and has linked up with The Man in the High Castle. Joe was arrested along with his father and other Nazi conspirators and Frank looks to have perished while attempting to fight against the Japanese.
Needless to say many of you can’t wait for season 3 to return, we will keep you up to date with all the information as it comes in so check back regularly for updates.
Do we have a The Man in the High Castle Season 3 release date?
As of writing no, officially there is no release date for the season 3. Season 1 and 2 were released at the tail end of their respective years, however, season 3 will not be until 2018, so just a little later than its previous seasons.
Do we have a The Man in the High Castle Season 3 promotional trailer?
No promotional trailers have been released but during New York Comic-Con back in October, a promotional clip lasting over 3 minutes was released.
The clip shows John Smith being shown an individual who is not of their world but of a parallel one and has been able to travel to their world. This follows up from season 2 where we saw glimpses of that parallel world via the Japanese trade minister Nobusuke Tagomi.
Do we know who will star in The Man in the High Castle Season 3?
Series regulars Alexa Davalos, Luke Kleintank and Rufus Sewell who play Juliana Crain, Joe Blake and Obergruppenfuhrer John Smith respectively are all expected to return along with other series regulars.
New additions to the series include John Hans Tester who will play the recurring role of Dr Josef Mengele, a famous Nazi physician who has won the Nobel peace prize and is currently conducting research in Berlin.
Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. star Jason O’Mara is also set to join as another series regular. Expected to play Wyatt Price, a hustling black marketer who lives in the neutral zone, he fled to the US from Ireland after the Nazis began to dominate Europe and firmly believes in America being what it once was.
